Region 16 Youth Athletics Association was started in October 2013. The original Officers were Bobby Carter, Chairman, Willie Morris Vice Chairman, & Andrea Troupe, Secretary/Treasury. The committee also included a total of 6 At-large members & 2 Event Coordinators. The primary function of this committee is to provide planning and the implementation of the Track & Field & Multi Events Regional Qualifier meet of the 4-state area of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, & Oklahoma for youths ages 5-18 years old.
