Meet Information

AAU Membership Requirements

A current AAU membership number is necessary to register for this meet. AAU membership fee is not included in the entry fee for this Meet. AAU membership can be obtained on-line at www.aausports.org. AAU membership must be obtained before the competition begins. Participants are encouraged to visit the AAU website. If you already have a current AAU membership card from another AAU sport, you do not need to purchase another card.

All entrants must be prepared to show their AAU cards and Birth Certificate.

Implements

ALL implements MUST be checked into Implement Inspection (Implement Weigh-In) not later than two hours before the POSTED start of competition for that event.  Certified implements will be moved to the competition site one hour before the start of competition.  Any implement arriving for inspection after the check-in cutoff will be held until after the conclusion of ALL competition (Finals included) for that particular event. The equipment must be checked in the day before on any competition scheduled for 8am the next day. No Exceptions.

  • Wed: 1pm – 5pm
  • Thu: 7am – 6pm
  • Fri: 7am – 6 pm
  • Sat: 7am – 5pm
  • Sun: 7am – 12pm

2 HOURS   Before POSTED Event START– ALL Implements MUST be checked in to the Implement Inspection.

1 HOUR   Before POSTED Event Start– ALL CERTIFIED Implements will be moved to the competition site.

ALL IMPOUNDED implements will remain in the Implement Inspection Area until the conclusion of competition for that particular event.

ANY implement arriving after the above check-in cut-off cannot be guaranteed arrival at the competition site.

1 HOUR after conclusion of ALL competition for a particular event, implements will be moved from the completion site to the Implement Inspection area.

2 HOURS after conclusion of ALL competition for a particular event, implements   (Both certified and impounded) can be picked up at the Implement Inspection area.

How to Enter

All registrations will be conducted on-line at www.athletic.net. Registration will close at 11:59PM CST on June 19,2026. Additions and corrections can be made until the entry deadline. NO CHANGES can be accepted after the deadline.

Entry Fee: The registration fee is $30.00 per athlete for the Multi-Events. Entry fee for the  Track & Field Meet is a separate $30.00 fee. All Entry fees MUST be paid on-line with a credit card in order to complete the registration process.

Entry Deadline: All athletes must register on-line NO LATER than 11:59 PM CST, June 19,2026. ON-SITE & LATE REGISTRATIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS MEET.

Athlete Eligibility

The top sixteen (16) finishers in each individual & relay event shall advance from the District Qualifier to the Regional Qualifier. Competitors shall only advance from the District Qualifier into the Regional Qualifier in the events that they actually competed and qualified at the district level. Exceptions: Multi-Events & Steeplechase. Javelin & Pole Vault if not contested at your District Qualifier Meet.

Age Divisions

Participants will be divided into nine (9) age divisions for boys and nine (9) age divisions for girls. YEAR OF BIRTH determines the division in which the athlete must compete. Competing in the wrong division is grounds for immediate disqualification. Athletes who are eighteen (18) years of age through the final day of the AAU Jr. Olympic Games National Championship shall be eligible to compete in the 17 – 18 Years.

Effective 2026:

  • 8 and Under: 2018 & (After Relay)
  • 9 Years old Born: 2017 (Relay only 9&10)
  • 10 Years old Born: 2016 (Relay only 9&10)
  • 11 Years old Born: 2015 (Relay only 11&12)
  • 12 Years old Born: 2014 (Relay only 11&12)
  • 13 Years old Born: 2013 (Relay only 13&14)
  • 14 Years old Born: 2012 (Relay only 13&14)
  • 15-16 Years old’s Born: 2010 & 2011 (all events)
  • 17-18 Years old’s Born: 2008 & 2009 (all events)

Proof of age may be required at District Qualifier, Regional Qualifier, and National Championship events and whenever  required and/or challenged.

Acceptable forms of age verification include:

  • Original birth certificate
  • A notarized original birth certificate from the appropriate issuing authority
  • A US Military Government Identification Card
  • A valid (not expired) passport
  • A valid US driver’s license

NOTE: Other forms of documentation, including, but not limited to, letters from public or private schools and/or city and state Parks & Rec Departments are not acceptable.

  • 8U, 9 years, 10 years, 11 years, and 12 years: Maximum of 3 events
  • 13 years, 14 years, 15-16 years, 17-18 years: Maximum of 4 events

NOTE: Any athlete who participates in more than his/ her age division’s prescribed maximum number of events will be disqualified from this meet and WILL NOT be allowed to advance to the National meet in ANY events.

Participation of relay teams will be limited to those clubs which hold a current valid club membership in the AAU. Relay teams consist of four (4) members and may list up to four (4) alternates. All Relay Team members must be registered participants in the Meet.

Relays are conducted in the 8U, 10 years, 12 years, 14 years, 15-16 years and 17-18 years divisions ONLY. The 9 years divisions may run in the 10 years divisions, the 11 years divisions may run in the 12 years divisions, and the 13 years divisions may run in the 14 years divisions only in the relays.

NOTE: Each entry in a relay is considered one of each of these athlete’s individual entries and counts toward the maximum number of events allowed.

Meet Ground Rules

Tents & Canopies

Tents and canopies will be permitted in designated areas in the bleachers and outside of the track. All clubs will be required to adhere to the following Rules that will be strictly reinforced. Failure to comply will result in the removal of your tent(s)/canopies. You will be required to sign a Permission Disclaimer & Release of Liability form prior to the start of competition of the RQM.

Inclement Weather

The safety of our athletes and guests is our primary concern. The Meet Director has the option of delaying or temporarily halting the meet in the event of bad weather (including extreme heat) and resuming when weather permits. The format of the meet may be adjusted after weather delay, if deemed appropriate by the Meet Director and the Games Committee. In the event of a meet stoppage or a delay in the start, the Meet Management Team will make announcements on start times.

There will be concessions available. Medium-sized coolers may be brought into the stadium. No glass containers are permitted.

A QR Code may be provided to help you access pertinent information.

No Firearms, Smoking, or Alcohol, Portable Grills, E-Cigarettes, or Vaping are permitted on School Campus Property.

Clubs will be requested to place their trash in bags. Trash bags will be provided to assist with keeping your area upkept.

Gate Admissions & Parking

There will be an admission fee for all 4 days of this meet.

  • Ages  6 – Adults: $15.00 for 1 day, $25.00 for 2 days , $35.00 for 3 days & $45.00 for all 4 days. There will be a $1.00 surcharge from Go Fan for each ticket purchased.
  • Ages 5 & Below are Free

Wristbands must be worn at all times.

Wristbands & Bib Numbers provided with entry must be worn at all times for FREE entry into the Meet.

Passes for AAU Club Membership. 1 for up to 20 Declared Athletes  2 for up to 40 Declared Athletes  3 for 41 & over Declared Athletes. The Head Coach will be required to pick up & sign for Receipt. Any additional Coaches will be required to purchase a ticket , unless they have signed up in advance to work the meet.

Parking in designated areas for Officials & Handicapped. Special Bus Parking available.

Stadium restroom facility & portable toilets are located throughout the track.
